Marriage
Good marriages require good relationship skills.  Happily, even the most seemingly
relationship-challenged people can learn concrete skills that can change the quality of marriage.  With everything that we now know about what's necessary to sustain a healthy marriage, there is no reason why anyone wanting a better relationship can't have one.
It's never to late to create a happy marriage, all you have to do is decide to explore the idea of staying married insted of throwing in the towel.

So if you are a couple who:

  • Want to feel even closer to their spouses
  • Keep arguing about the same old subjects
  • Want tools for breaking free from relationship ruts
  • Feel hopeless and are considering separation or divorce

Know that most marital problems are solvable.  Change is possible.

People want solutions to their relationship dilemmas, and as a solution focused therapist I will encourage solution-oriented thinking and problem solving by focusing on:

  • The kind of life you want to build together
  • The kind of partner you desire to be in order to build the kind of relationship you want to create
  • What blocks you to becoming the partner you want to be

Becoming a more effective partner is the most efficient way to change a relationship.

In order to accomplish the above in your relationship you need:

  • A vision of the life you want to build together and individually
  • The willingness to work as a team
  • The motivation to persevere
  • Time to review and recognize change and growth

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step forward.  Small changes lead to solution avalanches over time.   Let me help you in this journey.

Married couples themselves, by the witness of their faithful, life-giving love, are the best advocates for marriage.  By their example, they are the first teachers of the next generation about the dignity of marriage and the need to uphold it.
