Welcome

"The only thing that stands between a person and what they want from life is the will to try it and the faith to believe it's possible."  Rich DeVoes

Today you are one step closer to a new you and/or a new relationship where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

As a therapist, my role is to affirm, listen and assist you in drawing upon what is already intuitively known. I assist you in tapping into your own innate capabilities by being respectful, non-judgemental and caring. This allows you to be an active participant in the process.

Therapy, when the chemistry is right between client and therapist, helps people help themselves during hard times. It can be an effective way to facilitate growth, encourage effective coping and provide support when life is hard. Ultimately, therapy works only when it helps people find their own strength.  In most studies of the treatment conducted over the last 40 years, the average treated person is better off than 80% of the untreated sample.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, relationship, career, health, or spiritual journey, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

The greatest harmful belief is ' I cannot awaken.  I cannot grow or change.'...The greatest challenge to happiness is self-denigration.
